Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle

What:

Texas Bar Foundation awards Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle $28,333.00 to provide pro bono legal services to immigrants and refugees, including the homeless, in Amarillo and the upper 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle who are unable to afford attorney’s fees.

“Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awards more than $20 million in grants to law-related programs. Supported by members of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the nation’s largest charitably-funded bar foundation.”

Where:

Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle, located in Amarillo at 2801 Duniven Circle, 79109 and other locations in the Texas Panhandle to be determined for consultations.

When:

April 2019 through March 2020

Qualifications

Applicants will be qualified using poverty guidelines from the US Government at the 100% level as of January 2019.
