Disaster Relief

At Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle, we know that disasters are a part of our community.  As a member of the Texas Panhandle VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters), we are doing our part to be a reliable and responsible resource in the event of a disaster.

In 2023, when flooding hit Hereford and Amarillo, TX, we were there to provide support for pregnant moms and families with toddlers. We provided similar support for the victims of the Perryton tornado as well.

If you would like to find out more about what the Texas Panhandle VOAD does, please visit their website.

In 2024, our area has suffered tremendous damage due to wildfires. Support for those affected has just begun. Our hearts go out to all those who have experienced losses and hardships because of these disasters. If you would like to be a part of helping these communities, please use the form below to make an online gift of any amount. Remember, YOU can make a difference!
