Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting youth (ages 14-24) and mentors for the program; coordinate activities that provide information, skill-building and motivation-building experiences; promote effective integration and education and successful transition in the community; offer opportunities to engage in civic activities; help youth develop and improve academic, career and personal goals. Applicant must be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED). A bachelor’s degree in social work or another related field is preferred. Some familiarity with contracts and reports a plus. Applicant must demonstrate understanding and have strong interpersonal skills interacting with people from other cultures. Applicant must have good oral and written command of the English language. Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Applicant must be able to read, write and communicate in a professional manner; must have a valid driver’s license; and must meet requirements related to background checks.
